The Hotel Waldparkstube is located in the Mingolsheim district of Bad Schönborn.

A wellness and health park with an active brine park, a Kneipp facility and a barefoot park as well as the Thermarium spa are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Therefore, it offers the right conditions for relaxation and recreation.

Due to the favourable traffic connection Bad Schönborn is the suitable starting point for business travellers, since the technology centres Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Mannheim as well as Walldorf are in the direct environment.

In 1962 Konrad and Irene Metzger opened the "Waldparkstube" as a restaurant.

Due to the beginning of the spa business in Mingolsheim, there were soon the first requests for overnight accommodations.

Initially 2 double rooms & 1 single room were offered.

It does not take long and the Waldparkstube was increased by 1 floor. Now 9 more rooms could be offered. At that time, the rooms were only equipped with a sink. The shower and the toilet were in the corridor. In 1984 the 2 old houses on today's parking lot were torn down and the Waldparkstube was extended to a hotel. At the same time the old building was renovated and 2 rooms became one new room with its own bathroom. Since July 2014 the hotel Waldparkstube is operated as a Garni. But still the wheel does not stop in the Waldparkstube. In the last 4 years, the house was continuously renovated.
